Mark and his team worked on 4 projects over a period of 13 months.
The first of the projects was inside the house, replacing all of the existing windows. Mark worked with me while I was not in the UK to size and design each of the windows, and the team then installed all the windows before our return to the UK. The job was completed on time and within budget.
The 3 large projects (one 2 storey building, one 1 storey building and 1 link of old outbuilding to main house) followed.
• Marks team were on site every day without fail.
• The foreman, Scott kept me informed on the next steps of the projects, both in the immediate and long term.
• I was given plenty of time to make decisions effecting the projects.
• All of the team were polite and considerate to both us and our neighbours.
• Consideration and discussion were always had regarding decisions effecting the budget.
• There were no surprises, everything was planned and discussed.

The Apuldram Centre is a local Chichester based registered charity, established in 1989, our core objectives are to support adults with learning disabilities.

Our main site comprises a series of structures including rural utility farm buildings, offices, workshops, shop and kitchen facilities. Our landlord supported living responsibilities include three residential properties. We are committed to continuously improving our site facilities, along with preventative and remedial works.  Since 2016 we have contracted with Richard Jones Building Ltd (RJB) and recent works include new boiler installations, garden landscaping, and joinery or plumbing repairs in addition to capital build projects.

Our latest capital project for the new hall, shop and café was completed October 2020, amidst the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic. RJB manage works and complexities of our day to day operations well, staff build a friendly and professional rapport with the people we support and visitors to site.

We regularly review and monitor services that contractors provide for us and amongst financial value we look at; added value, communication with us and our vulnerable service users, craftsmanship and efficiency.  RJB continue to meet, and on the majority of occasions exceed our expectations of the service they provide.
