This project was awarded by tender following a fire breaking out and leaving the building derelict. The original building was constructed in the 18^th Century and in 1986 was Grade 2 listed, due to this and the history of the building, the specification for the project was detailed and our work was closely supervised by the Heritage Preservation Office to ensure that we saved as much of the existing building as possible for reuse and that new installations, such as the thatched roof met the requirements they expect.
